and IIRC, they did giver it a bump in power

I never noticed the Rodeo/Passport badge engineering job before. Also, I found it went the other way with the Odyssey/Oasis.

What really grinds my gears is they for some inexplicable reason didn't have those ridges on the hood flow through to the front bumper. It just looks cheap.

They gave it a bump in power and a new sound. Plus a new interior. So it's pretty different to an S.

They're just gonna get bought by Asians. Just like all the other automotive manufacturers. Though personally, I would love to see them as a division of Ford.

I don't remember seeing anything about a bump in power, nor is it mentioned in jalopniks article about it (just read it again) plus I wouldn't be surprised if the new D smokes it. All they did was change the final gear ratio, add some suspension bits, change the interior and then finish it off with a body kit and apparently that makes it their own car

That's kind of exactly what made him famous with his 80's mustangs - suspension, brakes and an appearance package. They should have painted this white and put his yellow and grey fender stripes on it.
